Join the Museum on Friday AND Saturday for free, festive fun during Christmas Under the Dome!

Friday, December 6, we'll be open to all until 8 p.m. for the Downtown Bloomington Once Upon a Holiday First Friday festivities with:

  • Adult eggnog and hot cocoa

  • Live music by Marcos Mendez

  • Model train display

  • Festive photo op

  • Live window display featuring vintage Christmas decor

Saturday, following the Jaycee's Annual Christmas Parade, we'll be open and free from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with: 

  • Santa

  • Live music from community choral groups

  • Illinois Art Station Pop-Up for all ages

  • Festive photo op

  • Model trains

  • Cookies and hot cocoa 

The live music lineup on Saturday kicks off with community choir Cantus Novus at 11 a.m., followed by Sue Miller and the Bells at 11:45 a.m., Loving Missionary Choir at 12:30 a.m., and Sounds of Illinois Chorus at 1:15 p.m.
