Calling ALL Knitters and Crocheters, grab your needles and hooks, some yarn, a friend or two, and come and knit for a bit!
The final Knit In for 2024 will be Saturday, November 16 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Museum’s second floor courtroom. Knitters and crocheters are welcome to come and create charity items or work on their own projects in the company of like-minded crafters.
This quarter’s featured project is making hats and scarves that will be distributed through the Museum’s Warming Fence (which will be located on the Museum’s plaza on the south side of the building). Items will be hung on the fence for anyone to take who needs warm winter weather gear. Hats and scarves of a variety of sizes (adult and child) will be needed. Items made of materials that are machine washable and dryable is preferred. If able, please package items individually in ziplock bags.
Parking will be available at the Lincoln Parking Deck, located one block south of the Museum on Front Street, or on the street around the Museum.
