Bring your lunch and join us for a look at the Christmas Past and Present at Ewing Manor during our Lunch & Learn on Thursday, December 12, from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. with Toni Tucker, Director of Ewing Cultural Center.
Imagine Christmas at the Ewing family home known as Sunset Hill, (today Ewing Manor). Christmas was a joyful occasion with a 60-acre playground of snow for sledding, skiing and horseback riding. Toni Tucker will give us a peek into the manor to see how the Ewing’s celebrated the holidays and how the celebration continues today.
Tucker has been the Associate Director of University Advancement & Director of Ewing Cultural Center since 2012. She oversees the ISU Foundation facilities, the Alumni Center, Ewing Manor, the Theatre at Ewing Manor, and the Genevieve Green Gardens.
The Museum's Lunch & Learn series is made possible with the support of our presenting sponsor, MCK CPAs & Advisors. This series provides unique learning opportunities every second Thursday of the month over the lunch hour (12:10-1:00 p.m.) in person and live via youtube.com/mchistorymuseum.
Save the dates in your calendars for the first four Lunch & Learns of 2025 on January 9, February 13, March 13, and April 10.
