This is not your average rags to riches story. It's a close to the bone story ... a dog bone, that is.
In the latest episode of WGLT's series McHistory, you'll learn about Rags the Dog and his long, dog's journey travelling the Central Illinois on the Interurban or Illinois Traction System and making several stops in Bloomington.
Rags was known and welcomed in the Twin Cities from about 1907-1912, making time to ride the streetcar while in town.
McHistory is a co-production of WGLT and the McLean County Museum of History.
